Learn Focest meditation

Trajectory and price

1: Getting acquainted

The trial is free and lasts approximately 45 minutes. The lesson gives you an impression of Zen meditation, the teacher and the space. Part of the lesson are two short meditations.
There is plenty of room to ask questions.
You can register for one of our courses during or after the trial.

2: Meditation

Finally getting started! The great thing about focest is the training! Meditating you will learn and this discovers a huge opportunity to grow. We keep it simple and the assignment is clear.

3: Implementation

Together we will work to bring the insights and skills you gain during meditation into your practice. We focus on your well-being, your enjoyment of the sport and your goals. Think about reducing performance anxiety, handling pressure better or reducing the risk of injury.

4: Realisation

Integrating meditation into your sports practice leads to improved performance, a greater sense of well-being and an enjoyable athletic experience.

frequently asked questions

A growing body of scientific research has shown various effects of meditation, both on a physical and mental level. For example:

  • Stress reduction
  • Improved concentration
  • Emotional stability
  • Improved well-being
  • Physical health benefits

For optimal results, build up your meditation practice to 20 minutes of meditation twice a day.

You exercise and meditate separately. During your training sessions and competitions, you do fall back on the skills you gain during your meditation.

No, I provide customization. That means that the course can be different for each sport. The basis, the meditation, remains largely the same.

Meditation is for everyone. But really everyone. Countless scientific studies endorse the positive effects of meditation on your physical and mental well-being. Everyone can learn to meditate, including you. I help you with that.

I guarantee that I will provide you with everything you need to achieve your athletic goals and guide you through the process. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own (inner) growth. No one else can do that for you.

I can be brief about that: focus, fun and better performance.

You can. But how far would you have gotten in your athletic performance without a coach? That’s how it works with mental training and meditation.

Yes, you are going to get more out of your workout regimen by meditating. Meditation will not put extra strain on you, but rather ease you.

Top that you are already engaged in mental training. You will see that meditation will bring even more depth and strength to this. Plan an informal conversation with me. Together we can see how meditation fits into your current mental training.

Sport is largely mental. Thus, you have to deal with outside pressures, stress and setbacks. Therefore, just training physically is not enough. Train your brain as hard as your body to perform optimally and continue to enjoy your sport.

That list is long, a few examples:

  • Cristiano Ronaldo
  • Demi Vollering
  • Lebron James
  • Dafne Schippers
  • Kobe Bryant
  • Novak Djokovic
  • Stefan Groothuis
